I love the gumbo here. Make sure you get a grilled cheese sandwich to go with it! It takes only a few extra minutes for them to make but it's worth the wait!
Very good service. The gumbo is delicious. I got the raw shrimp with head home to boil it. It's very fresh and taste is so good. Price is decent. I'm going try their poboy next time.
Tried them for the first time. All I can say is that the reviews about the Catfish is totally RIGHT! The size of the bun is fairly big so no worries if you are really hungry. The negative part of the whole experience was that they do not have a table and if you want to eat at the location you would have to hold it on your lap but it wasn't bad enough to deduct a star from them. Plenty of parking space in front. They also have many other items like a supermarket that u can purchase. They are like a "If it's eatable, we have it" place lol The owner was Asian and very nice.
Everything here is amazing!! Crawfish always has the right flavors and that includes the turkey necks, and gumbo. Recently tried the fried catfish on buns and it was phenomenal!! This place is always a must when I come to town!
Great Gumbo & Grilled Cheese is a staple here, it's a local legend on manhattan. The service could be faster but considering it's a small family run business, service moves seamlessly and you can order over the phone beforehand avoid waiting. Crawfish is fresh and boudins are amazing here. If you do decide to get any boiled seafood (crabs, shrimp, potatoes) please do not forget to get the homemade garlic butter sauce. You won't regret.
